Become a 2024 Commencement volunteer
Help create a memorable experience for the graduating class of 2024! Volunteers will wear many hats: graduate check-in, offering support and encouragement, and venue set-up and break down. Volunteers receive a UCSC t-shirt and hat.
Volunteer at any of the commencement celebrations and ceremonies Friday, June 14 – Monday, June 17. All volunteers will be invited to a virtual Volunteer Orientation on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 3 – 4 pm.

Be a regional ambassador
Join Slug Ambassadors and partner with UCSC to connect and support fellow Slugs in your communities! As an ambassador, you can plan exciting events, assist with outreach, volunteer, and fundraise. This is not just an opportunity to give back to your alma mater but also a chance to grow your personal networks and make a positive impact in your community. Come be a part of something special!
