When the university transitioned from a dues-paying format, the opportunity to be named a Lifetime member ceased. In honor of our Lifetime members, the Alumni Association commemorated a bench outside the McHenry Library, and created a webpage to proudly display a list of all UCSC Alumni Association Lifetime Members. You are and always will be in the Lifetime Alumni Membership group and we will continue to celebrate and recognize you as such.

All alumni may access the McHenry and Science & Engineering Libraries in person by using their Alumni ID card. Get your alumni ID card in a few easy steps. Alumni may also access all other University of California libraries in person, excluding UC Berkeley, by showing their UCSC Alumni ID card.

All UCSC Alumni may access digital materials by using the ProQuest online library. Please contact the Alumni Association at alumni@ucsc.edu so we may send you a ProQuest login.

Share your latest news with your fellow Banana Slugs by writing an Alumni Note.

Due to recent changes announced by Google, UCSC is no longer able to offer unlimited Google services to alumni. After graduation, new alumni keep their UCSC Google Apps services for 12 months. They must submit a request to retain their Gmail. Alumni will be notified of the steps to keep their Gmail and deadlines via email. Learn more.

For all questions related to the recent changes to alumni Google services, please view IT’s FAQ webpage.

New Google accounts will not be distributed at this time. Alumni must know their Cruz ID and password to access their Google account. If you have an existing Cruz ID but are having trouble accessing your UCSC Google account, you may view IT’s instructions for recovery.
