Outstanding Staff Award

Stacey Sketo-Rosener is the 2018-2019 Outstanding Staff Award winner. Sketo-Rosener leads the campus’s Office of Campus Advising Coordination, which offers support for academic advising on campus, as well as programs for training and development of advisers, including an adviser certificate program. “Stacey works tirelessly for the students and staff at UC Santa Cruz,” said Jennifer Gallacher, marketing and communications director for UC Santa Cruz’s Summer Session. “Always open to new ideas, she is continually raising the bar. Stacey is always in meetings! She meets with staff, students, deans, provosts, and everyone in between, but she still manages to get more done for UC Santa Cruz than most people you will meet."

Established by the Alumni Association in 1995, the Outstanding Staff Award is presented to a staff member to recognize sustained, distinguished service by staff to student life, the growth and improvement of UCSC's programs, and the preservation of UCSC's unique intellectual and physical environment. In collaboration with the UCSC Staff Advisory Board, the UCSC Alumni Association honors the very best among our dedicated UCSC staff.
