Voting for the UC Santa Cruz Alumni Association Council Election closed at 5:00 p.m. (PDT) on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Contact alumnicouncil@ucsc.edu with questions.

 

All Members of the UC Santa Cruz Alumni Association were emailed a unique link to an electronic ballot for the election of Alumni Councilors on Monday, June 7, 2021, when the election began. If you were a Member of the UC Santa Cruz Alumni Association at least seven business days prior to Monday, June 7, 2021, you were eligible to vote. Please refer to the UC Santa Cruz Alumni Association Amended and Restated Bylaws , Article III (Membership), Section 3.1. (Members), for a definition of Members who may vote for the election of Alumni Councilors.

The election closed on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (PDT) . Any ballots submitted after this time cannot be counted.

An Inspector of Elections will determine quorum and the authenticity, validity and effect of votes and ballots; count and tabulate all votes; and determine the result of the election. This year, Jerry Ruiz (Crown College, 1977, Economics) will serve as the Inspector of Elections. Jerry is a former Alumni Councilor. Over the past 40 years, Jerry has practiced business law and represented his clients in real estate transactions in Los Angeles. Election results will be posted on the Alumni Council website by July 1, 2021.
