Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

The University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) Alumni Association is committed to fostering and protecting an environment of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for the alumni, students, and communities we serve. We vow to be a body that values the ideas and supports every person with civility, honesty, cooperation, professionalism, and equity. We strive to build a network of proactive and engaged alumni that is inviting and reflective of the diverse UCSC community we know and love. By ensuring an environment that is inviting, inclusive, and reflective of our diverse alumni, we will strive to build a network of proactive and engaged alumni who give back to the UCSC community we know and love.

We pledge to incorporate practices of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging both at UCSC and in our everyday lives.
